Very few people realize the profound effect that weight has on diabetes. Even the instances of gestational diabetes are far greater in those that are overweight than in people that are not. Even if you just go out for a short walk everyday - you should get out there! Enjoy some quality time in the sun. Pick some flowers with the little one. Take up golf. Do what ever it takes to get yourself up and moving every day in order to help you remember why you want to live as long as you can in the first place.
